Kamen Rider: Reiwa The First Generation (仮面ライダー令和ザ・ファースト・ジェネレーション Kamen Raidā Reiwa Za Fāsuto Jenerēshon) is a Japanese superhero crossover film between Kamen Rider Zero-One and Kamen Rider Zi-O, and the 11th overall installment of the Movie War series of films. It is intended to be the first successor to the Heisei Generations Series, and serves as a tribute to the original Kamen Rider series. In the film, Sougo travels to the World of Zero-One to assist Aruto in fixing the damages caused by a Time Jacker, while Aruto learns of his family's history as well as his own powers.

Synopsis

12 years ago, the Daybreak Town Accident changed the world and brought forth a new prosperity towards artificial intelligence. But what if that were to all change?

Sougo Tokiwa gave up his conquest for power after he chose to reset the world and live a mundane life. However as a Time Jacker began to alter history once again, Sougo is forced to take up the mantle as Kamen Rider Zi-O once again, as he meets Aruto Hiden, the native Rider of the world he has to save.

This is the story of two Kamen Riders from two different worlds, whose fight together will ultimately determine the fate of all reality.

Continuity and Placement

Kamen Rider Zero-One: The film is set sometime between episode 9 and episode 15, as Zero-One uses Breaking Mammoth but Horobi and Jin still inhabit their hideout in Daybreak Town. The fact that Zero-One does not use Shining Hopper makes it likely that it takes place before episode 10.

The post-credits scene featuring Gai Amatsu as Thouser takes place sometime after Project Thouser.

Kamen Rider Zi-O: As confirmed by producer Shinichiro Shirakura, the film is set sometime after the series finale and before Kamen Rider Zi-O NEXT TIME: Geiz, Majesty[1]. This fact is shown with Sougo, Geiz, and Tsukuyomi losing their memories right after the film.
